Retain your talent with HLSM

19 March 2019
08:30 - 12:30

Higher Level Skills Match presents a session led by internationally recognised skills consultancy Gradconsult, helping businesses to attract and retain top talent. Discover new techniques and processes to help strengthen your workforce.

Retaining the younger generation is sizing up to be an ongoing challenge for employers as they have shown a propensity to switch jobs every couple of years. Through this interactive workshop we will share some generational research and highlight what motivates the gen Y's and Z's to stay on the job. To help managers retain their talent, we'll specifically focus on developing skills in the following areas:

-Runing an engaging induction

-Setting SMART objectives to help ensure work is meaningful

-Conducting motivational performance reviews

-Developing employees in the future

The workshops are available free of charge but the equivalent cost of delivering them would count as state aid at full market rates. All companies in the European Union are entitled to receive up to 20,000 Euros in government aid in a 3 year period under State Aid de minimis regulations. If you would like more information regarding State Aid please visit: http://www.gov.uk/state-aid
